Description
The art of Haudenosaunee dance may seem effortless, but in truth it is quite intricate. The different drumbeats, chants, and foot movements are all unique to each specific dance. Each dancer is able to interpret these elements in their own style. The dances serve to convey stories about nature and the elements, while also expressing gratitude to the Creator for his blessings.
